ABOUT THE SONGS

You won't find a whole lotta trucks and tailgates here. (You kidding me? I was raised on the north side of Chicago and drive a "pre-owned" 2005 Saab. Yah. I blend.) I started piano lessons and wrote my first song -- I chose not to post it here -- at the age of seven, appropriating the tune from "Waltzing Matilda." A real tear jerker. Hopefully the songs on this site will prove I've evolved since then. But I'll let you be the judge. Better yet, don't judge. Just enjoy. That's what they're here for.

One more note: I will periodically be changing these up, replacing, rotating, resurrecting. So every once in a while, y'all come back now, hear?

And oh yes: I'm starting to take my one-woman show on the road, "Nashville Notes: The Diary of a Mad Songwriter." Think of it as a storytelling TED Talk with music. You'll laugh! You'll cry! But mostly be entertained. If you'd like more info -- or to book at your venue, please contact me at this site or at "Nashville Notes," and let's get rolling!

Thank you for listening.
